Sebastien Loeb Takes Dominant Win on Rally Mexico, Solberg and Ogier Podium

León, Mexico — The Citroën Total World Rally Team crew of Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena today won Rally Mexico, the second round of the FIA World Rally Championship. After their dominant performance on the second day, the reigning World Champions were able to cruise to the finish while the battle for second raged behind them. Petter Solberg and Phil Mills clinched the position on the final super special stage, heading Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia by just 1.1 seconds at the end of the rally. more...

Curitiba, Brazil — Kris Meeke is on course to repeat his Rally Internacional de Curitiba victory of last year after winning six of the seven special stages on the first leg of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier in Brazil today (Friday 5 March).

León, Mexico — BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team endured a predictably tough opening to Rally Mexico today as dry and dirty conditions hampered their challenge on this second round of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila are fifth in a Ford Focus RS World Rally Car, while team-mates and championship leaders Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen are sixth in a similar car, after carrying the burden of carving a clear line through slippery loose gravel throughout the day. more...

Salem, MO, USA — Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino of the Monster World Rally Team have claimed their fifth consecutive 100 Acre Wood Rally win. Block drove the Open Class Ford Fiesta to victory despite having a tough first day and starting the second leg over a minute behind rally leader, Travis Pastrana. Salem, MO, USA — After the first day of the 100 Acre Wood Rally, Subaru Rally Team USA’s Travis Pastrana sits in the overall lead, 22 seconds ahead of Rockstar Energy Rally Team’s Antoine L’Estage. Canada’s L’Estage lost ten seconds to Pastrana after suffering a flat on SS1 and will be pushing to catch him on tomorrow’s stages.
