HENNING SOLBERG, brother of 2003 World Rally Champion Petter and a regular on WRC events himself, will be helping JARI-MATTI LATVALA with the driving duties over the two days of the Rally Show. Faro, Portugal — The Pirelli Star Driver programme moved on to the Vodafone Rally of Portugal this week, where all five crews made good progress on the hot and dusty stages inland from the event’s Faro base. Four of the five Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Xs made it to the finish at the Algarve Stadium this afternoon (Sunday), with only Ott Tänak failing to get through the final test. Hokkaido, Japan — Australian rally-driving star Chris Atkinson is aiming to get his FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship campaign firmly on track in Japan’s Hokkaido Rally.

Istanbul, Turkey — Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena drove a faultless final day in Rally Turkey to score a hat trick of wins in the 2010 World Rally Championship.

Istanbul, Turkey — On only their second WRC event ever, Monster World Rally Teamʼs Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino continued to prove their ability to keep pace with the veteran drivers, securing sixth fastest on stage three times during the Rally of Turkey. “Three months ago, when we first announced our WRC plan, I never would have thought that we would be dicing it up with the middle of the pack,” says Ken Block. “So for me a sixth fastest finish on stage is a personal victory and may as well be a win for me. more...
