BDC Day 1

After Day One here in New Richmond Quebec, Patrick Richard and Alan Ockwell find themselves leading the Rallye Baie-Des-Chaleurs with Antoine L'Estage and Nathalie Richard looking to close the 17 second gap separating the two teams as they head into Day 2.

Antoine is aiming for a clean run on Saturday as the mechanical frustrations continued to build throughout Friday evening's stages.

Alan Ockwell noted that the Subaru Team Canada car was in great shape and driving well. They are happy with their performance on Friday night, given the fact they were forced to drive on a flat for one of the first three stages of the rallye.

Ken Block and Alex Gelsimino were leading the rallye as the left Service 1 on Friday night, however they suffered a severe off, leaving their car in shambles and the two with what appeared to be minor injuries.

We are heading out this morning for Day Two of the Rallye Baie-Des-Chaleurs. Be sure to stay in touch with LIVE twitter updates: follow us at http://www.twitter.com/worldrallysport .
