As NEFR 2009 draws nearer Team Broken Racing is prepared and ready for battle with many regional and national entries.

A full week prior to the event we had the car all setup for gravel action and the van packed up ready to roll to Team O'Neil Car Control Center in Dalton, NH for a test and tune yesterday 7/12/09.

With our late arrival, 1pm, we were unable to secure a large amount of time to really tweak the car and feel it out. We were able to get 3 runs in by the end of the day which in return showed us a few issues that need to be addressed. A fuel line was hanging too low near the fuel tank and was ripped by one of the large rocks on stage. Slight leak that will be repaired before we return to Maine and NH on Wednesday this week. Another issue that needs to be addressed is negative camber on a few corners. It is so much that the tires were rubbing the DMS 50's.

Running the course, there was no stage notes in the afternoon so trying to run at pace to get a feel for the gravel for the first time with the car since its build was a slight issue at some corners and ended up in a small off forcing more negative camber on the right rear wheel and filling it with mud. All control arms seem to be straight after a quick check with the wheel off. Just an adjustment should be needed to remedy the situation.

Team Broken Racing will be running in the PGT class as a first time in the gravel and a first Rally America event. While we are concentrating our efforts for this event towards finishing and getting the car to Rally WV, we will still be "testing" at a brisk pace in order to gain as much knowledge and control of the car for our coming events in the title race for Production AWD in USRC.
