Rally Mexico marks the fourth consecutive rally win for Qatar’s Nasser Al-Attiyah in 2011 so far and his first S-WRC victory. Salem, MO, USA -- Mazda Driver Wyatt Knox took his first National two wheel drive class win this past weekend at Rally in the 100 Acre Wood based in Salem, Missouri, the second round of the Rally America National Championship Series.
The victory was greatly attributed to two days of clean driving by Knox and excellent in-car communication with his new teammate Ole Holter, the 2010 Super Production Co-Driver Champion. Salem, MO, USA -- Travis and Terry Hanson claimed the Super Production Class win at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood with their 2007 Subaru Impreza STi, finishing in 4th place overall. Combined with the team’s historic overall victory at the season opener, Sno*Drift Rally, they remain the overall leaders of the 2011 Rally America championship.

L’Estage set a blistering pace early on, winning ten of the event’s fifteen special stages and finishing 17.7 seconds ahead of international rally ace David Higgins. After much speculation, it has been reported that former Subaru factory driver Travis Pastrana will make a one-off return to Rally America competition with a last-minute entry in this weekend’s 100 Acre Wood Rally. Travis Hanson likes to be the one to set the tone for Super Production (SP) class competition early in the season. In 2010, Hanson finished both of the first two rounds of the Rally America Championship in fifth place overall with a time of over 10 minutes at Sno*Drift and over 2 minutes at 100 Acre Wood on the second fastest SP crews.
